A systematic mapping study of performance analysis and modelling of cloud systems and applications

Cloud computing is a paradigm that uses utility-driven models in providing dynamic services to clients at all levels. Performance analysis and modelling essential because of service level agreement guarantees. Studies on performance are increasing productive manner the cloud landscape issues like virtual machines data storage. The objective this study conduct systematic mapping systems applications. A useful visualization summarizing research carried an area interest. provided overview studies subject by using structure, based categorization. results presented terms such as evaluation solution, contribution tools method utilized. showed there were more discussions optimization relation tool, process with 6.42%, 14.29% 7.62% respectively. In addition, designs model had publication relating 9.77%, validation 7.52%, experience 3.01%, solution 10.51%. Research gaps identified should motivate researchers pursuing further directions
